It all started with a knock on our front door. A kind neighbor saw our loquat tree bursting with ripe fruit and asked if he could buy some. I said yes and handed him a bag. In that small moment, something much bigger clicked.

"Aadit, if you ever get the chance to give back, do it. The world gave you life. Find a way to return the favor."

I was born premature and spent my first three months in the NICU. Our family went through some of our hardest moments there. So when that man showed up, I thought: what if these loquats could do more than ripen and fall? What if they could help save other lives?
